How Do You Tea Time?

I live, love, laugh tea. It is great in all shapes and forms. I have a group of my select favorites, and “go-to’s,” that I can never give up, though I am always willing to expand my horizons and I do have other favorites outside of my main tea group that I do enjoy. My two favorite brands of tea are Celestial Seasonings and Yogi.
While, no Yogi tea occupys my pantry currently, it has become one of my favorites. I, especially enjoy, the “lavendar honey” flavor and the “ginger flavor.” For the days that I am sick, I also thoroughly enjoy the “throat coat” tea. Yogi has a handful of flavors that all cater to my needs and likes.

However, I grew up a few miles from the Celestial Seasonings factory. So, since I was a child, I have always grown up drinking Celestial Seasonings tea. Yup, I have been in the infamous peppermint room multiple times, which brings me to my next point. Their peppermint tea is one of my absolute staple teas to have in my pantry. It is not only a staple, but a necessity type-of-thing. Peppermint is great for so many things, including bowel movements, period cramps, etc. Plus, it tastes amazing. The same could go for ginger tea, as it helps support your immune system, improves bowel movement, and also alleviates any nauseau you may be experiencing.
Back to the topic of Celestial Seasonings…Celestial Seasonings tea usually owns my tea pantry. I love their extension of flavors and their variety. Another staple that you can always find in my tea pantry is their Sleepytime tea, which includes chamomile, spearmint, lemongrass, tilia flowers, blackberry leaves, orange blossoms, hawthorn and rosebuds. Their blend is delightful and can put anyone to sleep. It also tastes quite lovely. It is a classic, for sure.
While peppermint tea and their sleepytime tea are some of their most popular teas, I found love with their “Country Peach Passion” tea flavor, as I love peach. Their blend includes, floral chamomile, aromatic citrus and sweet peaches, which produces a lovely blend and is not too sweet. The addition of the chamomile allows for a calming effect.
My newest venture into their brand included the purchase of a tea they have manufactured for a while, and one that I had been eye-ing for a while, as well. I had heard about it quite a bit, especially during the Celestial Seasonings tour. I had been eager to try it. The blend was called Tension Tamer, and Tension Tamer has become one of my all-time favorites. Tension Tamer, includes Eleuthero, peppermint, cinnamon, ginger, chamomile, lemongrass, licorice, catnip, tilia flowers, natural lemon flavor with other natural flavors, hops and Vitamins B6 and B12. The tea provides for an uplifting, yet calming experience for the tea drinker, and it is quite delicious. I would recommend for anyone and everyone. This blend may now have taken Peppermint’s place as my all time favorite.

With that said, I branched out and tried a new brand of tea, in order to make sure that my tea pantry would include a box of lemon ginger tea. This is also one of my necessities to have lying around in my pantry. I can kill a “20 pack” in less than two days, sometimes. It is a dangerous addiction. Stash, which is a brand that I have never heard of, seemingly appeared to be a safe option, as the grocery store I was at did not sell any Yogi tea (?!) I do not understand how or why, but that was the case. The lemon ginger tea was quite lovely, contrary to what I assumed it was going to be. Stash surprised me with a well-blended lemon ginger tea. While I do not see myself purchasing Stash tea very often, lemon ginger is always a necessity.

After spending some time online, I was shocked to find that Celestial Seasonings actually manufactures a lemon ginger flavor, as well! I am shook, amazed, and so ecstatic. For those lemon ginger tea lovers, there is now another brand that manufactures one of my all-time favorite flavors of tea.

As you can tell, I am mostly (but, practically strictly) an herbal tea drinker. Caffeine and myself do not always go well together as a team. Herbal tea is great, because while caffeine-free products contain a miniscule amount of caffeine, herbal teas are all-natural and do not contain any caffeine within them.
Tea has become one of my favorite drinks and I always keep a large amount stored in my pantry for all occassions. I love my herbal tea, especially to wind down after a long day of work, or even after a hangover.

The health benefits from drinking tea are enormous and it is a great habit/drink to pick up, especially over sugary, or over-caffeinated drinks.

When is it NOT a good time to drink some tea and wind down?

What are your favorite blends of tea?

Have a tea-filled day!

    • It truly is! I am glad you love the Sleepytime too – it is one of my all-time favorites. Such a great blend! You should try to attempt to go to the Celestial Seasonings tour in Boulder 🙂 Try Tension Tamer or the Vanilla Sleepytime blends by Celestial Seasonings. You should look into Yogi as well 🤗 Thank you for your support and love!
