Puppers, doggies, dogs, “good boys,” “good girls,” sweet boy, sweetest girl, etc. are some of the different ways that I refer and call these good friends of mine.
I have began investing more time towards attempting to make each dog, or “camper” as we call them, as comfortable as possible, so that they can be their best, truest, and most comfortable self.
Most of these incredible four-legged friends of mine have the greatest, cutest, and biggest smiles that I have ever witnessed in my entire life. Their smiles melt my heart, soul and existence away quicker than the Summer sun melts ice cream.
Their lives are so full of purpose, happiness, joy, and love that they are more than willing to share with the world, which is such a selfless act.
They work so hard to keep us happy, get our attention, and make us proud – it is basically their full-time job, as they truly are “man’s best friends.”
They do what I could call “The Lord’s Work,” and they do not even realize it.
It truly is incredible to realize how appreciative and loving these kids are, just in general. Just by simply petting them, or calling their name, results in them showing off their widest tails.
They attempt to repay our kindness and act of love by attempting to make us proud by doing even the littlest of things, such as sitting even though you may not have a treat, playing well with other dogs, doing something correct, etc.
If I have learned anything about dogs, it is that they truly will go to any length to just make people, or other dogs, happy. And, they are not afraid to show it.
Seeing these dogs smile is one of the most fufilling things I experience on a daily basis. There is nothing more sweeter, cuter, and heartwarming than seeing a dog smile, because they cannot seem to contain their joy.
This past week I learned that I simply need to smile more.
I spend a lot of my time frowning, or just simply not making any facial expressions.
The number of smiles I see on a daily basis from my best friend’s is well over 100, as they always find something to smile about.
They smile more than average humans breathe, which is saying a lot.

Dogs have such unique and wonderful personalities, and sometimes, I have the ability to capture some of their greatest candid moments that show off their personalities.
The joy that dogs have for humans in simply unmatched, and humans should truly step up their game.
We truly do not deserve this kind of love, happiness, kindness, and companionship from such wonderful creatures.
Find more reasons to smile and to be grateful – if dogs can, humans can attempt to try to.
Take less for granted, and attempt to show the excitement, the appreciation, and the love you have for others, materials, opportunities, life, etc. more often.
