In an attempt to embrace the sun shining into my face every morning, I decided to play around with the shadows and the sunlight, which resulted in some cool shots.
Messing around with all natural props make things much easier, as these all natural props create their own artistic twists on what would otherwise be a fairly basic phoptograph. The best part is that these props do all of the work themselves – it is just up to you to find the light, as well as the shadows, successfully to create your visually-stimulating shots.
This was all done in good fun.
What began as creating fashion content for my blog turned into a fun some cool headshots.
When the lighting is good, all I can say is grab your camera ASAP.
You would be surprised how crucial good lighting, and crazy cool shadows can be in creating some creative masterpieces.
What a lovely week to spend in nature! But, then again, when isn’t it a good time to spend time in nature?
Summer is my time to shine and absorb as much Vitamin D as possible.
This past week, I maximized my time in nature, camping out in a no cell-service region that was practically completely unpopulated. It was incredible.
My friends and I wandered off the map to an area around Lyons, Colorado and Raymond, Colorado. It was beautiful.
Here are snapshots of my beautiful time spent outside ♥
Who else LOVES camping?
Another beautiful day in paradise spent exploring the great outdoors, and getting cozy with nature and animals in their natural habitat.
Hiking is one of my all-time favorite ways to exercise, all while spending some time appreciating the Earth, getting some vitamin D, and finding territories that are unknown to me.
It is important to get to know your Earth and appreciate it while it is around.
My newest adventure took me to Meyers Homestead Trail.
I can say definitively that I LOVED this trail, and this will not be the last time my foot prints will cross paths with this beautiful trail.
The landscape and the scenary was very visibly breathtaking, as I found myself panting for air and for more beauty.
I came across from lovely friends in their natural habitat, and I had the opportunity to get up close and personal with these lovely fellows.
We can call this an insect-ual relationship.
All natural adventures are one of the most therapeutic ways for me to alleviate my anxiety and my stress, as well as my general well-being.
You can come across so much, if only you just stop on the side of the road, find a trail, and take it to the end.
Summer is coming to a close, but hiking season will never be over.
However, hiking will forever always be one of my favorite Summertime activities.
Any excuse to spend time outside, because the indoors are so bland and much less breathtaking.
What are some of your favorite hikes?
♥ A beautiful hike ♥
Twin Lakes Outdoor Space in Gunbarrel, Colorado is a dog park, with lake access for dogs.
The views are breathtaking and it is a beautiful place, especially during the golden hour.

Harlee Jo, my favorite Red Heeler puppy, got to frolick and to play, and it is safe to say that she had a great time playing fetch.
Huji, Huji, Huji – Can’t you see? Sometimes, your app hyptonizes me.
Huji is the newest and latest photography application for the iPhone that has become widely popular among our pop culture, especially for individuals who utilize social media platforms.
We are always looking to find various photography that applications that assist us in getting us “THAT SHOT.”
Lately, the pop culture society has jumped on-board of the camera applications that mimic vintage, or disposable, cameras to produce photographs that appear like they were shot using that kind of camera.
In Huji’s case, the photography application mimics the filter and the effects of a disposable camera, automatically filtering the photograph as soon as you take it. The photo application even date stamps the photos for you to the current date, which is a very cool perk to the application. The application successfully executes a high-quality photography application that allows individuals to shoot film, essentially, without having to go through the costs and the labor of using a legitimate film camera, and as a result, having to develop the film.
As ironic as it is, the further that technology progresses the more that individuals seek to go back in time and use technology of the past.
Huji is no exception to this rule.
With things, such as portrait mode, available, that shoots at such high-quality, it makes you wonder why our society is so interested and curious to go back in time to the age when disposable cameras were the only cameras we could use. Disposable cameras do not have the leisure and luxury of shooting at such high-qualities, such as the most recent iPhones do with the portrait mode. In fact, details and the quality were harder to distinguish and often lost in translation, as our camera technology at the time did not allow to shoot at such high-quality.
The great thing about this application is that it shoots at a fairly high-quality, producing photos that are exceptional and way beyond my expectations for the application.
I am impressed by the quality and the PRICE (it is free!) of the application, because for a no price, this application proves to be a winner and an application that everyone should try.
I am a big fan of this application and recommend for all those individuals who may enjoy photography! This is a great photography application for your iPhone.
The gallery and compilation of photographs are also conveniently stored on your iPhone, or backed up onto your iCloud, or your laptop, so you do not need to worry about losing a photograph forever.
I have included a gallery of my work with Huji thus far, and I am not disappointed.
Check it out ♥
This is only the beginning of my adventures with Huji – and, as you can already tell, I have adventured hard with this application already.
Hope you enjoy the photographs & stay tuned for more Huji business!
Download the application on your app store on your phone FOR FREE. Simply search the word ‘huji’ in the search bar and the application should come up.
Disposable camera without having to even dispose of a camera.
Plants are friends too!

You will never miss a step with this chronological gallery that footprints my hike.
Today, rather than hiking the trail that I normally hike, I hesistantly, yet willingly decided to hike a different trail that I had hiked twice before.
The trail I hiked was named the Royal Arch Trail, which is located within Chautauqua Park in Boulder, Colorado.
It had been a while since I hiked individually.
Since it had been a while since what I consider my last “REAL HIKE,” I decided that if I chose to hike a new trail that it could be exciting and an adventure.
In addition to the exciting element of hiking an unfamiliar trail, I also was aware about the level of difficulty of the hike, which I would consider much more difficult and lengthy than the hike I generally go on.
I fell off the wagon during the Winter, as I found myself making excuses to talk myself out of hiking. The longer that I avoided hiking, the harder it became to start hiking again regularly. Similarly, since I truly enjoy hiking as more than a form of exercise and a hobby, I found myself more anxious and irritable, as a result of my lack of execution.
The Royal Arch trail was about 3 miles long one-way, so the entire hike, both ways, comes out to be a total of around six miles.
Most of the way up to the top was an extreme incline, with very tall rock stairs, making it a very intensive cardio workout. This was exactly what I was looking for!
It was not easy to say the least, but I truly enjoyed it.
Follow me through my hiking excursion below:
Here are some more moments that I captured with a disposable film camera!
One hiker that came across me on my way down began conversating with me and proceeded to ask if I was from Boulder, Colorado.
I replied, “Yes, I am born and raised here. I am a native,” in which he responds, “even after all this time in Boulder, you are still doing and still hiking the same trails! That’s incredible!”
I find solitude and happiness at Chautauqua Park, all while being able to get exercise. This is a place that I can always count on to allow me to forget my problems and to be in a state of awe by the beauty that is within and around Chautauqua Park.
Though there is usually a surplus of hikers on the trail, Chautauqua Park is a perfect escape for me to run away, literally and figuratively, from people and continue to nourish and flourish my relationship with Mother Nature.
Within the park, you can find so many hidden gems of beauty tucked within an already beautiful area.
It is hard to believe that something that already is so beautiful contains even more beauty within itself.
You will never be disappointed with the views on any of your hikes at Chautauqua Park, but instead, you may find yourself disappointed that you never proceeded to appreciate all the glory that is Chautauqua Park.
What is your favorite place to find solitude and happiness?
Find your escape within your paradise, so you always have a place to run away from your problems, forget your worries, and clear your head.
